Q: What is your favourite Ayaat in the Qur'an? :)

islamicrays:

Assalamu Alaikum,

“But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.” (Quran 2:216)

“Surely, Allaah is with those who are As‑Saabiroon (the patient)”

[al-Anfaal 6:46]

“And Allaah loves As-Saabiroon (the patient)”

[Aal ‘Imraan 3:146]

(O Prophet) say: “O My servants who have wronged their own souls….Do not despair of Allah’s Mercy!  Surely,  Allah forgives all sins.   He indeed is the All Forgiving,  All Merciful.  Return to your Lord and submit to Him before the scourge overtakes you;  for then you may get no help from anywhere.

(Surah Zumur verses 53-54)

Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. (Quran 13:28)

those who give in times of both ease and hardship, those who control their rage and pardon other people – Allah loves the good-doers (3: 134)

May Allah guide us to the straight path,

Ameen
